Staying Positive

Things that have gone right lately. My attempt to be a more optimistic person.

I will post every day, at the end of the day (or the next morning), about the good things that have happened to me in that day. The hope is that I will begin to be generally happier and more positive, rather than focusing on the negative as I tend to do.

If you would like to join me, e-mail me or leave a comment on one of my posts and we can talk about adding you as a poster here. I think that it would be really cool if this were to become a multi-person endeavor, if others are interested in helping to make it one.

Music: Madonna Bedtime Stories
Reading: Gandhi The Story of My Experiments with Truth
Current stress level (scale of 1-10): 8

Good things that happened today:
1. Dara showed me a yarn store in Harvard Square! I bought point protectors. It's probably good that I don't live around there, or I would be waaay too tempted to go and buy stuff...
2. It was an absolutely gorgeous day. The kind of cool, clear, clean end-of-summer day that I've only experienced in Massachusetts. Wonderful for walking around outside.
3. I had a lovely walk back to my house from where the bus dropped me off when I was going home from Dara's.
4. Jason called. :)
5. Saw skull and crossbones earrings in a store!!! They were SO AWESOME! I should've bought them...
6. Ben & Jerry's Phish Food. Need I say more?
7. Watching porn clips.
