Staying Positive

Things that have gone right lately. My attempt to be a more optimistic person.

I will post every day, at the end of the day (or the next morning), about the good things that have happened to me in that day. The hope is that I will begin to be generally happier and more positive, rather than focusing on the negative as I tend to do.

October 15, 2006

Music: Queen of the Damned soundtrack

Current stress level (scale of 1-10): 5

Good things that happened today:
1. OMFG PAPER DRAFT IS WRITTEN IT IS 2:45 AM BUT I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!
2. Am going to bed. Now. Bed bed bed.
3. Tea with breakfast.
4. Knitting group met for the first time. One girl forgot and another had to leave really soon, so it was just me and one other guy, but it was kinda cool because he came to learn so I got to teach him to knit and play with my new(ish) Clover bamboo needles (which are okay but a little blunt)... and this is all on my knitting blog so I'm going to stop talking about it now.
5. Walking to dinner, it was cold and almost had that New England fall crispness in the air that I miss so much.
6. Ice cream sundae for dinner.
7. Root beer jelly beans.
8. Lots and lots of cuddles. :)
