Staying Positive

Things that have gone right lately. My attempt to be a more optimistic person.

I will post every day, at the end of the day (or the next morning), about the good things that have happened to me in that day. The hope is that I will begin to be generally happier and more positive, rather than focusing on the negative as I tend to do.

Current stress level (scale of 1-10): 6

Good things that happened today:
1. Woke up next to Jason.
2. Earned $40 in about 3 hours of refereeing at a tournament.
3. Got a good start on a piece of (creative) writing due Wednesday. I'm stretching myself with this, really, but I'm not unhappy with it so far...
4. A while ago I contacted my former employer about getting a job for a friend of mine in financial difficulties... they just offered her a position! I feel SO FANTASTIC about that!
5. Chorus practice!
