Staying Positive

Things that have gone right lately. My attempt to be a more optimistic person.

I will post every day, at the end of the day (or the next morning), about the good things that have happened to me in that day. The hope is that I will begin to be generally happier and more positive, rather than focusing on the negative as I tend to do.

Current stress level (scale of 1-10): 3

Good things that happened today:
1. Dinner with Jason!
2. Someone started a campus writing group and I went to the meeting and OMG I'm so excited it looks like it will be a tad disorganized and most actual workshopping will be done on a blog (which may be responsible for!) but it'll still be so nice to have people who are expecting me to write and a bit of a SOCIAL LIFE outside of fencers and a couple of other random people! (I'm not counting teh boyfriend as social life because he is my life, obviously... (cue the "awwwww"s here ;) ))
3. Read 160 pages. I am English major, hear me roar!
4. Started memorizing "The Tyger."
5. Knit a couple of rows at aforementioned writing group meeting.
6. Also, hot chocolate. With whipped cream.
7. Wrote something intriguing at the writing group meeting! Methinks I shall continue it... gosh, it's been a while since I had multiple competing writing projects to work on... ack, now I worry that I won't finish any of them! Heh, I guess I'll do what I can.
