Staying Positive

Things that have gone right lately. My attempt to be a more optimistic person.

I will post every day, at the end of the day (or the next morning), about the good things that have happened to me in that day. The hope is that I will begin to be generally happier and more positive, rather than focusing on the negative as I tend to do.

Music: mix CD
Reading: various for my creative writing class (not student work)
Current stress level (scale of 1-10): 8.5

Good things that happened today:
1. Woke up next to Jason.
2. I GOT INTO THE COTERMINAL PROGRAM HERE!!!! WHEEEEEEEEE
3. As celebration for #2, bought myself a steamed milk with a shot of vanilla. Yummy!
4. Worked on my portfolio for creative writing. It's actually kind of frustrating right now because this damn piece is fragmented and not really coalescing and I need to move on to work on other stuff... but it's still nice to be writing.
5. Lunch was actually pretty good.
6. Had a good workshop of my piece.

Other things to be happy about:
1. Puppy count: THREE!
