Staying Positive

Things that have gone right lately. My attempt to be a more optimistic person.

I will post every day, at the end of the day (or the next morning), about the good things that have happened to me in that day. The hope is that I will begin to be generally happier and more positive, rather than focusing on the negative as I tend to do.

Music: No Doubt Tragic Kingdom
Reading: Sidney Astrophil and Stella, Shakespeare's sonnets, Morrison Beloved
Current stress level (scale of 1-10): 8.5

Good things that happened today:
1. English major dinner. There was a raffle and I won a mug! Also, filet mignon. And I got to dress up.
2. Actually got to see Jason, which I wasn't expecting.
3. Had a good conversation with my professor about my paper. He likes the direction I'm going in... now I just have to manage to work out this insane complicated thing in TWO WEEKS while writing two other papers AAAAAGH...
4. Due to outlining my Bible paper in full yesterday, realized that I can bump some things up on my crazy-end-of-quarter schedule.
