Staying Positive

Things that have gone right lately. My attempt to be a more optimistic person.

I will post every day, at the end of the day (or the next morning), about the good things that have happened to me in that day. The hope is that I will begin to be generally happier and more positive, rather than focusing on the negative as I tend to do.

Good things that happened today:
1. Had a fantastic and delicious restaurant dinner with the boyfriend. (On the pricey side, too, but hey, we haven't gone out for a while... ;) heck, it was way worth it.)
2. Saw Shall We Dance? (the Japanese version). Fun movie. Now I want to take ballroom dancing lessons...
3. Staying at Jason's tonight. Yay for big beds!
4. Played Katamari Damacy.
5. Had a nice, relaxed, day. I didn't get much work done, but hey, a girl needs a day for herself every once in a while. ...right? :deep, calming breath:
6. Decided which schools I'm applying to, at least for the moment. Yay for one more decision off of my back!
7. Tea!
8. OMG there was the CUTEST puppy on the sidewalk today when we were going out to dinner! It had one of those long, fluffy, lazy, clear-a-coffee-table-in-one-sweep tails, and it looked so happy and wanted to say hi... so in conclusion YAY FOR PUPPIES!!!! :)
9. Read more of Narbonics.

Other things to be happy about:
1. Tea!
2. Puppies!
3. Backrubs!
4. Knitting!
