Staying Positive

Things that have gone right lately. My attempt to be a more optimistic person.

I will post every day, at the end of the day (or the next morning), about the good things that have happened to me in that day. The hope is that I will begin to be generally happier and more positive, rather than focusing on the negative as I tend to do.

(sorry no posts for last couple of days; I was on a fencing trip)

Reading: notes that I'm typing up to study for a final, newspaper
Current stress level (scale of 1-10): 8.5

Good things that happened today:
1. Lunch with Jason. There were many HUGS!
2. Jason left a sweet note on my whiteboard at three-freaking-a.m. last night.
3. Got my official letter of acceptance into the coterm program!
4. Got a letter from my great-aunt and -uncle.
5. Got an e-mail from my teacher saying that my two-page paper proposal looks wonderful, and very promising! (wheee... now I just have to WRITE the thing, LOL)
6. Had a nice long talk with a former roomie over dinner.
7. Dickens reading group!

Other things to be happy about:
1. Puppy count: TWO!
