Staying Positive

Things that have gone right lately. My attempt to be a more optimistic person.

I will post every day, at the end of the day (or the next morning), about the good things that have happened to me in that day. The hope is that I will begin to be generally happier and more positive, rather than focusing on the negative as I tend to do.

If you would like to join me, e-mail me or leave a comment on one of my posts and we can talk about adding you as a poster here. I think that it would be really cool if this were to become a multi-person endeavor, if others are interested in helping to make it one.

Good things that happened today:
1. I just had the most intense sex of my life. Like, seriously. ...and I am about to collapse. ;) But WOW.
2. Weird French movie with lots of lesbian (and hetero) sex. Exceedingly strange, but highly amusing. (Didn't hurt that the nekkid actresses were hot. ;) )
3. Milkshake!
4. Jukebox! I played Beach Boys! :)
5. Finished one (of two) pattern repeats on the swatch for my next knitting project.
6. A DVD that I rented from the library got stuck in Jason's computer for like two hours. And then it came out! Thank GOD.

Other things to be happy about:
1. Sleeeeeeeeep.

Music: Enya The Celts

Current stress level (scale of 1-10): 7.5

Good things that happened today:
1. Lunch AND dinner with Jason.
2. After a frustrating fencing practice, I decided that I wanted sugar. So I put a ton of coins in the vending machine, grumbling to myself the whole time about how they were charging me $1.05, which really is up there for two Reeses' peanut butter cups. I pressed the key combo for my candy, only to watch it get stuck in the machine. Frustrated, I gave it a bang -- only to watch it then spit out TWO packs of peanut butter cups (and 57 cents per pack is a MUCH more reasonable price, too). The kicker? This is the second time that this has happened to me.
3. I had tea with lunch!
4. I have discovered the joys of Internet Backgammon.

6. Playing botgames on RinkChat right now. :)
