Staying Positive

Things that have gone right lately. My attempt to be a more optimistic person.

I will post every day, at the end of the day (or the next morning), about the good things that have happened to me in that day. The hope is that I will begin to be generally happier and more positive, rather than focusing on the negative as I tend to do.

1. Hot sex.
2. Craft fair/festival.
3. Ice cream!
4. Woke up at a leisurely rate.
5. FINISHED THE SIDES OF MY FREAKING KNITTED BAG! And started the bottom!

3. Got my hands on the second and third Harry Potterses.

Good things that happened today:
1. Cuddles!
2. Tea!
3. Good books!
4. Went out for a coffee break/work-related chat with the archivist who is mostly my supervisor. It was fun, and I got to learn a bit more about her. Plus, really good hot chocolate.
5. A friend pointed me to this hilarous site where you create a character and then earn XP for doing chores. Hee!
6. Got to mostly do an interesting project at work rather than the mind-numbing thing I'm mostly doing. (Man, I get excited at inventorying and organizing a bunch of papers and call it interesting... I really am cut out to be an archivist.)

3. Did stuff mostly promptly this evening.
4. Can check off everything on today's To Do list but one thing (and that one thing is NOT "look into schools!" :) )
5. Made progress at work.
