Staying Positive

Things that have gone right lately. My attempt to be a more optimistic person.

I will post every day, at the end of the day (or the next morning), about the good things that have happened to me in that day. The hope is that I will begin to be generally happier and more positive, rather than focusing on the negative as I tend to do.

1. Hot sex. :)
2. Staying over at Jason's.
3. Lunch with Jason.
4. Saw PUPPIES!! :)
5. Packed (for fencing trip tomorrow) in a relatively short amount of time!!!!

2. Got set up at a new workstation at work! The location is MUCH better than my other one.
3. I don't have carpal tunnel! :) (Just tendonitis. :( )
4. Bought my plane ticket home for spring break!

2. Got a free shirt!
3. Idea for a piece of writing -- premised on the idea of people one day uploading information from computer straight into their brains -- what would a world history course be like? I envision a jumble of information/quotations contributing to some overarching impression/thought/feeling.

Good things that happened today:
1. Felt well rested for most of the day.
2. Lunch with Jason.
3. I actually had time to eat dinner!
4. Financial Literacy class.
5. Dickens reading group.
6. Met with the University archivist and had a nice (and informative) chat.
7. Was absolutely blown away by Plath's "Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams." SO AMAZING. (And thank GOD for no more Dada reading!)
