Staying Positive

Things that have gone right lately. My attempt to be a more optimistic person.

I will post every day, at the end of the day (or the next morning), about the good things that have happened to me in that day. The hope is that I will begin to be generally happier and more positive, rather than focusing on the negative as I tend to do.

Good things that happened today:
1. Honeybush tea at breakfast and dinner! Just what I needed.
2. Jason at lunch. Also just what I needed. ;)
3. Decorated a gingerbread house. (Yeah, yeah, I should've been working...)
4. Edited my freaking paper from hell.

Good things that happened today:
1. An hour and a half of sex and cuddles with the boyfriend. Neither of us could really afford that much time spent not working, I think, but both of us really needed it.
2. Got more knitting done!
3. I get to play Lady Macbeth for my group's presentation on the Scottish play. I get to perform THE SLEEPWALKING SCENE!!! I already have it like a third memorized. I'm so excited!

Good things that happened today:
1. OMFG I FINALLY FINISHED THE PAPER DRAFT FROM HELL THANK GOD!!!!
2. Lunch with Jason.
3. Had a group meeting to start thinking about a presentation that went all right. I'm feeling more optimistic about our ability to put something at least moderately interesting (if not necessarily that well acted -- we have to present part of Macbeth) together.
4. Did I mention that I FINISHED MY FREAKING PAPER DRAFT?

4. Got some knitting done.
5. Dickens reading group! (The kitten attacked my butt.)
